Tammi is a scientist with expertise in human cognition, behavior, and health research. She enjoys translating difficult-to-measure emotive and psychological characteristics into quantitative models. Tammi earned her PhD in Affective & Contemplative Neuroscience from UW-Madison’s Psychology program.
Her research has explored the neural, behavioral and cognitive mechanisms underlying emotion, well-being, and empathic behavior. It asks – how can behavioral interventions effectively target these mechanisms to improve well-being and to foster inclusive, empathic communities?
